Types of Pickleball Nets
At Rhino Pickleball, we make it easy for you to play pickleball whenever and wherever you can find the space. While pickleball is growing as a sport, it can still be challenging to find dedicated pickleball courts, so we offer portable pickleball net systems and supplies that let you set up your pickleball court on any flat surface.
Our pickleball nets are quick and simple to set up and remove so you can spend more time playing the game. With included storage bags, these nets are ideal for on-the-go play.
The Rhino Pickleball Net
The classic Rhino Pickleball net is the perfect portable net for a game of pickleball. This high-quality net is constructed from heavy-mass powder-coated steel with locking mechanisms that offer advanced stability, wind resistance and durability for outdoor play. A middle support keeps your net taught at 34-inches — regulation height for pickleball.
Your portable net is easy to set up and take down and is easily transported in the included heavy-duty bag.
The Rhino Deluxe Pickleball Net
Our Rhino Deluxe portable net offers the ultimate portability, with an easy-to-assemble frame and four locking four-inch wheels that make moving the assembled net a breeze. This net features a heavy-duty powder-coated frame and a constructed black nylon mesh net with all-around nylon binding for stability.
When you're done playing, the Rhino Deluxe pickleball net system is simple to take down and pack away into the included nylon zippered back for compact storage and easy transportation.
Pickleball Court Dimensions
While you don't necessarily need an official pickleball court to play, regulation pickleball court dimensions are clearly laid out in the USA Pickleball/IFP Official Rulebook. According to these standards, a pickleball court should be 44 feet long (inclusive of lines) and 20 feet wide (inclusive of lines). This size is comparable to a doubles badminton court or a racquetball court.
Much like a tennis court, a pickleball court is striped with right and left service courts and a 7-foot non-volley zone in front of the net, known as the "kitchen." You use the same lines whether you're playing singles or doubles, unlike tennis, where the court width changes for these different games.
You can play pickleball on a tennis court using one-half of the space to set up your pickleball court. To do so, you'll need to bring tape to represent your lines and a portable pickleball net.
Though you can use a tennis court net to play pickleball, the dimensions are significantly different. A pickleball net is 36 inches high at the sidelines and 34 inches high in the middle, while a tennis net is 42 inches high at the posts and 36 inches high in the middle.
The Benefits of Portable Nets
A portable pickleball net gives you the power to set up and play pickleball on the go, so you always have a place to practice your skills or inspire a little friendly competition. You can set up your net at your local racquetball court or tennis court, or anywhere with a flat surface and space to play.
The main benefits of choosing a pickleball net from Rhino Pickleball include:
- Advanced durability: Our portable pickleball nets are carefully designed with powder-coated metal frames to withstand the wear and tear of regular use, including setups and breakdowns, transportation and indoor and outdoor play.
- Portability for on-the-go play: Both of our pickleball nets come with an included storage bag that makes transportation easy. These nets break down into smaller pieces for compact storage that you can carry to and from your court.
- Easy assembly: Your net is quick and easy to assemble so that you can start your game fast. Your net comes with assembly instructions to help you learn the process. When you're finished, taking it apart is just as easy as assembling it.
- Regulation size and lightweight: Rhino portable pickleball nets are regulation size, so you're able to create a full-sized official pickleball court anywhere. These nets are stable and durable yet lightweight enough that you can easily pack them up and transport them.
If you're serious about improving your pickleball game, a portable net is an excellent investment. These nets will set the scene so you can enjoy a quick game with a friend or get in some much-needed practice time.
